The Language of the Heart
Compassionate Communication, also known as Nonviolent Communication, is a powerful process that increases awareness and connection to transform both internal and external conflict.
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) was developed by Marshall Rosenberg in the 1960′s as he explored what makes it hard for some people, and easy for others, to stay compassionate in difficult circumstances.
His book Nonviolent Communication – A Language For Life, shares a beautiful yet simple model for communicating with others and yourself compassionately.
Trained in Nonviolent Communication by over fifteen different International Trainers, including Marshall Rosenberg, I will be your guide to this process that has helped millions of people just like you. During our time together, you will learn how to increase clarity in your communications by transforming thoughts, judgments and language. With practice, Compassionate Communication can bring understanding and peace to all your relationships, including the one with yourself.
Compassionate Communication offers you a way to explore how to meet your needs while moving away from ideas of right or wrong and good or bad. This process shifts that critical inner voice into a curious and loving friend, so you are able to see and understand yourself and others with kindness. This transformation helps you make different and more life-serving choices about how you react to and engage with life, offering a pathway to create deeper and more satisfying connections. Approaching life with this awareness, we can more readily find strategies to meet everyone’s needs compassionately, and make life more wonderful.
